It's not humid either, that's the weird thing. It's fucking brilliant out, not a single cloud. Just blazing, white hot sunlight all day. And what a long day it is! It's the dog days of summer, just like the Egyptians talked about. The dog star was their enemy then, but now, it's Ra. I think Ra is fucking done with us. Maybe I should pick up a sign. The Halal cart guy that made me chicken and rice this afternoon said that Allah is bringing hell to earth to purge our sins from us. Christ.
Never made much sense to me to stop worshiping the sun. I mean, it's literally the source of life. It's amazingly important. I want to worship it myself. Except, it's trying to kill us right now. Read a bunch of papers today on the NSF website. Can't understand too much of it though--I majored in psych. Got to do some more research.
